I guarantee you will agree

An interesting choice of word, “guarantor”. It implies – no it states  – that the Lib Dems are guaranteed to be in a position of power within Westminster allowing them to influence any potential negotiations about possible future powers for a devolved Scotland. I wonder how the LibDems are guaranteeing they will receive sufficient votes in any future elections? I think this ‘guarantee’ comes with slightly more than a pinch of salt…

And it is not that the ‘nice face’ of British politics has ever, ever not delivered on their promises before, is it? Oh…

Edited to add: Scot Goes Pop has this to say.

Edited to add: The recent Euro elections rather prove my point about any ‘guarantees’ being offered by the Lib Dems.
